PRE-CONSTRUCTION CONSULTING
Pre-Construction Consulting services are utilized in the planning of a construction project before the actual design and or construction begins. During this process, Ironhide Construction works with the owner to take the facility they envision in their mind and work through the design phase with architects and engineers to make that vision come to life.
Once the design concept is developed, Ironhide Construction builds budgets, coordinates logistics, and creates a plan/schedule to bring the project from start to finish — all aimed at our client’s needs and wants – -so we deliver a building that is both functional and financially viable.
Pre-construction consulting helps to guarantee that the owner understands the overall concept and budget of the project. Once complete, Ironhide’s pre-construction consultant often steps into the role of a general contractor, preferring to enter into a GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) contract with the owner. This contract type allows the owner and contractor to work together as a team to ensure the contract is kept within budget.
